About the Role

As an Audit Intern, you will support the audit team with both on-site and office-based administrative and audit-related tasks. You will gain exposure to real client environments, event coordination, and essential audit processes—perfect for candidates looking to kickstart a career in accounting or auditing.

Key Responsibilities

Audit & Administrative Support

Assist auditors during on-site VAT audits
Scan documents, locate invoices, and manage archived files
Prepare training manuals (printing, binding, and distributing)
Provide ongoing progress updates to the Audit Manager
Event Management

Plan, coordinate, and execute internal events
Manage event logistics, venue set-up, and marketing materials
Represent the brand professionally and create brand awareness
Travel

Travel to client sites may be required
May involve being out of the office for several days depending on audit schedules
Support basic audit administration and assist with document printing

Minimum Requirements

Matric (National Senior Certificate) with Accounting
Accounting Diploma or Degree (completed or in progress)
1 year plus experience would be advantageous
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Adaptable, professional, and willing to learn
6 month fixed term contract
