Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct outbound sales calls to prospective and existing clients using an automatic dialer system

Follow approved sales and communication scripts, while confidently improvising to build rapport and address client-specific needs

Understand customer needs, recommend appropriate products or services, and provide tailored solutions that meet those needs

Effectively close sales in line with agreed targets, quality standards, and compliance requirements

Maintain full product knowledge to accurately explain features, benefits, and terms (comprehensive training will be provided)

Sales Performance & Targets

Consistently meet or exceed sales targets, KPIs, and productivity metrics

Demonstrate a target-driven and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Actively manage pipelines and follow-ups to maximize conversion rates

Quality, Compliance & Data Handling

Deliver all interactions in line with quality assurance standards and internal policies

Ensure accurate, complete, and compliant capturing of client information, with strong attention to detail

Handle all customer information in strict accordance with the POPI Act and data protection requirements

Adhere to regulatory, compliance, and audit standards, including call quality, documentation, and authentication processes

Maintain high quality compliance scores, with minimal errors, reworks, or customer complaints

Customer Engagement & Objection Handling

Professionally handle customer objections, queries, and concerns, using approved techniques to overcome resistance

Guide clients through the end-to-end sales and authentication process, ensuring understanding, consent, and satisfaction

Build and maintain positive customer relationships to support trust, credibility, and long-term value

Administrative & Team Responsibilities

Accurately update CRM systems and call notes following each interaction

Attend required training, coaching, and quality feedback sessions to continuously improve performance

Work collaboratively with team leaders, quality assurance, and compliance teams to achieve departmental objectives

Desired Experience & Qualification
Grade 12 / Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification

Minimum of one (1) year call centre experience, preferably within a sales or financial services environment

Minimum of one (1) year proven sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets

Demonstrated experience working with sales targets, KPIs, and tight deadlines

 

Knowledge & Technical Competence

Sound knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements:

Ability to interpret and understand credit reports

Practical experience with debit orders, including:

Sending and following up on debit checks

Proven experience in capturing accurate and complete information, ensuring high levels of data quality and compliance

Ability to prepare, send, and follow up on debit order mandates in line with internal processes and regulatory requirements

Experience in guiding clients through the debit order authentication process, ensuring full understanding, consent, and successful verification

Strong focus on quality assurance, minimizing errors, rejections, and failed debit orders

Ability to identify, correct, and resolve debit order issues through proactive follow-up with clients
Strong computer literacy, with the ability to work confidently across CRM systems, dialers, and Microsoft Office applications
Communication & Interpersonal Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and persuasively with clients

Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills, with the ability to influence customer decisions ethically

Confident use of sales and call centre lingo, adapting communication style to suit different customers

Results-driven, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling customer and financial information

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Package & Remuneration
Basic salary  R5,036 to R13,500
Uncapped Profit share (commission) Based on performance
